International Psychoanalytic Conference in Belgrade

The Psychoanalytical Society of Serbia, together with eleven psychoanalytic societies from nine countries of the region, is organizing the Conference to take place in Belgrade from 1 – 4 June 2017

THINKING ON THE BORDER

which is an opportunity for us to meet and think together about this theme, both contemporary and ever-important.

The main speakers are:

  • the first plenary – keynote speaker: Jorge Canestri (EPF President), discussant: Gianina Micu (Romanian Society of Psychoanalysis)
  • the second plenary – keynote speaker: Alexander Uskov (Moscow Psychoanalytic Society), discussant: Giovanna Ambrosio (Italian Psychoanalytical Association)
  • the third plenary – keynote speaker: Jonathan Sklar (British Psychoanalytical Society), discussant: Christine Diercks (Vienna Psychoanalytic Society)

Other speakers will be analysts from participating (and other) societies.
Afternoon parts of the program differ for the members / candidates of participating / other societies, and for the professionals / students, as indicated in the conference program.

Candidates will have their pre-conference day on Thursday, June 1st with peer supervision and a round table about psychoanalytic education.
