Psychoanalysis of Our Time – The series of lectures and panels

The Psychoanalytical Society of Serbia (PSS), in cooperation with Belgrade City Library, is organizing the series of lectures and panels “Psychoanalysis of Our Time” with the participation of eminent Serbian psychoanalysts and from abroad, as well as professionals in other fields.

The cycles of lectures will be held from February till June, every third Friday in February, March, April and June 2015, at 7 p.m. in the Belgrade City Library, Knez Mihailova 56.

We invite you to reveal with us that new voice, a link between the past and what is coming in the future.

We are marking the anniversary of the one hundred years from the time of Hugo Klajn and other students from our lands attended the lectures of Sigmund Freud in Vienna and on return set up the foundations of a new science here.

You will find out who their continuators and followers are, what is the Psychoanalytical Society of Serbia to which we belong, about the International and European organisations in which we were educated and of which we are members; how we work and how we perceive today the fundamental psychoanalytical concepts of those times.

Marilia Aisenstein, training analyst of the Paris Psychoanalytical Society (SPP), European representative in the Board of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), author of numerous texts and publications on psychosomatics and winner of the Bouvet Award

Jonathan Sklar, training analyst of the British Psychoanalytical Society (BPS), former president of the European Psychoanalytical Federation (EPF), chairman of the IPA Analytic Practice and Scientific Activities Committee, author of the book Landscapes of the Dark (Karnac, 2011)

Teofil Pančić, writer and journalist, columnist and literary critic of the “Vreme” weekly magazine
