Psychoanalytic theory and practice, nearly a century and a half since their pioneering beginnings, continue to sustain the interest of both mental health professionals—who regard them as a foundational and influential psychotherapeutic modality—and a much broader public, intrigued by the enigmatic insights into human unconscious functioning, symbolic meanings, and the complexity of human subjectivity.
Following the positive experience from previous years in organizing highly attended thematic workshops, the Psychoanalytic Society of Serbia is pleased to announce: Seminar: Basic Concepts of Psychoanalysis.
The course is intended for all interested participants, including mental health professionals, students, and the general public.
The course begins in October 2026.
Throughout the duration of the course, analysts from our Society will, through lectures, discussions, and clinical vignettes, provide participants with a broad overview of fundamental psychoanalytic concepts, their historical development, and their continued relevance today.
