The weekend from Friday, May 8, 2026, to Sunday, May 10, 2026, was marked by
activities surrounding the Second Conference of the Psychoanalytic Society of
Serbia, titled “The Riddles of the Unconscious.”

Virginia Ungar.
In the presence of more than 40 participants of this workshop, a lecture was held on whether there is something new in understanding adolescence today. The lecture was held by Vojislav Ćurčić and Vesna Brzev-Ćurčić, training psychoanalysts and supervisors of the Psychoanalytic Society of Serbia. The lecture was followed by a very constructive discussion in which both more experienced therapists and younger ones were involved.
To mark the 170th anniversary of the birth of Sigmund Freud, the Psychoanalytical Society of Serbia is organizing a conference titled “The Riddles of the Unconscious” in May of this year.
In the explanation of the Council’s decision, the exceptionally high-quality of paper that was presented was mentioned, as well as the great personal contribution to the development of the Society that characterizes Jovana.
This year’s, fourth in row, regional Conference was organized in Trieste, Italy under the name (In)Sanity and Destructiveness.

This seminar is psychoanalysts who have completed psychoanalytic
training in recent years and became psychoanalysts.
The clinical workshop was held on May 17th, 2025. year. The introductory lecture was given by Nataša Đerković Lukač on the topic: “On autism from the perspective of psychoanalysis”.
